The ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 is a cricket tournament that will be held in India from 5th October to 19 November 2023.
The tournament will feature 10 national teams including Afghanistan, Australia, Bangladesh, England, India, Netherlands, New Zealand, Pakistan, South Africa, and Sri Lanka.
The Indian cricket team’s first match is against Australia on 8th October 2023 at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.
The tournament will be played across 10 venues in India: Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Dharamsala, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai and Pune.
The defending champions England will take on New Zealand in the opening match at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on 5th October 2023.
The final match of the tournament will also be held at the same venue on 19th November 2023.
